From the Travel Guru !!!

Traveling overseas and visiting different parts of the world is an exciting event which can bring new energy to our daily lives. I love to travel myself, and when I do, nothing frustrates me more than all the 'convenient' tourist spots. Tourist attractions, tourist restaurants, you name it. Being the manager of The WIN Boutique Hotel in Seoul, Korea, I am approached by many guests asking me to recommend restaurants or places to go to. I always try to direct them to very 'local' areas. This is because that's where one finds true korea, the place where they could completely feel the different culture at last. The other day, one of our guests told me how much he hated staying at American brand hotels. They are convenient but lack the culture, he claimed. The thing that was so frustrating for him was the fact that he was surrounded by Americans, everyone spoke English and the surrounding made him feel like he was in America. He flew more than 10 hours to get here so he wants to see and feel something different, he wants to feel the real 'Korea'. This is why I decided to make this blog, to inform people of true Korea. In this blog, you will find all the 'locally' famous restaurants, bars, clubs, and those tips that only 'local' people know about. If you are looking for tourist attractions or want to find information on 'tourist-friendly' locations, this blog is not for you. If you would like to venture through 'local' Korea, you are in the right place. Let this Travel Guru be your tour guide.
